Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin's home in Holly in Oakland County was the target of a bomb threat Friday evening, one day after President Donald Trump attacked her and five fellow Democratic lawmakers for making a video urging the U.S. military and intelligence community to obey the law and refuse unspecified illegal orders.

President Donald Trump barked back on Truth Social, calling the message “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”

On Friday night, she posted on X:

"This evening, Michigan State Police responded to Senator Slotkins home in response to a bomb threat. The Senator wasn't home at the time. MSP searchd the property and confirmed no one was in danger."

Senator Slotkin is deeply grateful for the swift and professional response from Oakland County and Michigan State Police. U.S. Capitol Police will continue to investigate and hopefully hold accountable those responsible.

On Thursday, Slotkin told NBC News that she had received a flurry of threats since the video surfaced, and she had additional protection from law enforcement.

“Capitol Police is now with me 24/7," she said.
