On a sunny Sunday afternoon, on the first day of spring, people in colorful costumes marched down Second Avenue in Detroit's Cass Corridor to celebrate the 11th annual Marche du Nain Rouge.

The annual tradition resumed after a two-year pause becauyse of you-know-what. It commemorates centuries-old Detroit folklore of the Nain Rouge, a red dwarf/demon who is an omen of misfortune.
